How important is style and image in your profession? Style and image are very important in my profession.  As I am working with external partners, it is imperative that I present my very best self.  A big part of that is how I look.  First impressions matter.

What is your favorite quote? “Your gifts are not about you. Leadership is not about you. Your purpose is not about you.  A life of significance is about serving those who need your gifts, your leadership, your purpose.”- Kevin Hall
My personal motto is: GROWTH…always in ALL ways.

How would you describe your style? I would describe my style as Classic.  I wear suits every day for work.  On the weekends you can find me in a pair of Levi’s and some Chuck Taylor’s.  I feel most clean in a Hanes V-neck t-shirt and boxer briefs. I love Classic American Brands

Who would you say is your number one fashion inspiration? My number one fashion inspiration is probably Pharrell Williams.  I love his sense of style and he gives me confidence to take fashion risks.  I am also a huge fan of Tom Ford.  Aside from his designs, he always looks effortlessly cool and sophisticated.

Favorite item in your wardrobe? That’s like asking who is your favorite child.  My favorite wardrobe item right now would be my glasses.  I have about ten pair that I mix and match with what I am wearing. My Michael Kors orange watch is currently my go-to as well.

Favorite season to dress? My favorite season to dress is Fall.  I am always excited to pull out my jackets and coats.  I also love the fact that you can layer items in anticipation of temperature changes.

How do you find inspiration for ideas? I find inspiration for ideas in my friends.  I surround myself with people from all different backgrounds and experiences.  It is from our interactions that I find true inspiration.

What is your key to success? My key to success is my faith and prayer.  None of this is possible without God.

What’s your biggest accomplishment? My biggest accomplishment is centered around the youth I mentor through my involvement with 100 Black Men of North Metro, Inc.  By inspiring these young men to attend college and find paths to advancement, I am having an impact on the future generations to come.  In many cases, my mentoring has changed the trajectory of lives and will have far reaching outcomes that will live long past me.
